Description
Firs Farmhouse, along with its boundary wall and railings, is an early 19th-century farmhouse featuring later additions. The building is constructed from squared and coursed rubble, with flush rusticated ashlar quoins and colourwashed ashlar on the northeast front. It has a double span Welsh slate roof with ashlar copings and end ashlar stacks. The farmhouse is two stories tall and has a three-window northeast front. The windows consist of 16-pane sashes, with a 12-pane sash in the central upper window. The central doorway has a deep reveal and features a door with two moulded panels, two rectangular lights, and a rectangular fanlight adorned with a linked circle motif. There is a plinth course and a first-floor platband. A later addition is present on the northwest wall. The garden boundary wall is made of squared rubble with an ashlar coping and ashlar piers at both ends. It includes central wrought iron spear railings with urn finials and additional ashlar piers at the central gate.
