Description
The Isaac Buckell monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 8 meters south of the west tower of the Church of St. Mary. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The north side features an oval plaque dedicated to I. Buckell, adorned with cherub heads in the spandrels and a draped urn on each side. The south plaque is dedicated to J. Buckell, also oval, with a ribbon drop on each side. The tomb has lyre ends with husk drops and is topped with a moulded cornice.
