Description

The Grotto, located approximately 190 meters south-west of Wilbury House, is an 18th-century structure made of flint. It features a square chamber set into a bank, with a short passage leading to the entrance. Inside, there is a groined vault and brick pointed arches on three sides that open into apsed exedrae. From one of these exedrae, an underground passage curves around and rises to exit in the woods.
