NEWTON TONY - SU 24 SW 2/164 Grotto, approximately 190m south-west of Wilbury House 18.2.58 II

Grotto. C18. Flint. A square chamber set into bank, with approach short passage. Groined vault and brick pointed arches on 3 sides opening into apsed exedrae. From one, an underground passage curves round and rises to exit in wood.
