Description

The Manley monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 4 meters east of the Pocock monument and about 19 meters north of the north transept of the Church of St. Bartholomew. This late 18th-century tomb is made of ashlar stone and features two fielded plaques on each side, along with a moulded base and capstone. The inscription on the south side commemorates J. Manley, who died in 1824.
