Description
This is an early 19th-century cottage situated at a right angle to the road, with its south front partially hidden by the adjacent property at number 5. The cottage is constructed of red brick. It has a hipped roof covered in old tiles. The front elevation has three casement windows on the first floor, and two altered casement windows on the ground floor, one with a cambered head. A panelled and glazed door is located on the left side. Plain brackets support a gabled hood over the door. The end of the cottage facing the street is rendered and features two casement windows and a blocked door. Numbers 2 to 5 (consecutively numbered) and Clement’s Cottage have group value due to their architectural compatibility.
