Description
19 and 20 High Street are 18th-century buildings constructed of colour-washed brick with a pitched tile roof and a brick chimney. They stand two storeys tall with attics. The ground floor features modern shop fronts. On the first floor, there are three sash windows with glazing bars, two of which on the left are tripartite. The attic has three dormers: the central one is a sash with glazing bars, while the others are later casements also with glazing bars. To the right, there is a 1.5-storey carriage entrance with planked double doors, which reveals some remaining timber-framing from an earlier house that once stood on the site of No 21.
