Description

The Castle and Ball Hotel is a 17th-century building that has been modernised. It stands three storeys tall with a triple gabled front that features plain tiles and ball finials on the gables, which also have plain barge boards. The second floor has four windows, while the first floor has seven windows. The ground floor has a continuous line of large sash windows, with a panelled dado underneath and a door flanked to the right of centre. This area is covered by a wooden glazed roof supported by five 18th-century Doric columns. The Castle and Ball Hotel, along with Nos 112 to 116 and Nos 117 to 124, forms a group of buildings.
