Description
10 and 12 Bristol Street are a pair of houses dating from the 18th century, possibly earlier. They are constructed of rendered limestone rubble with brick gable stacks and feature a steep Double Roman tile roof. The houses have a parallel two-room plan and are two storeys high, each with a one-window range. The nearly symmetrical front has paired doorways left of center, with boarded doors; No. 10 is on the left, and the left-hand doorway leads to a flagged through-passage with a doorway to No. 12. The houses have 19th-century casement windows, which are smaller and located beneath the eaves on the second floor. At the rear, there is a full-width single-storey outshut with a central first-floor window above the passage. The interior has not been inspected.
