Description

This is a three-storey house, built in the late 18th century, and shown on an Enclosure map of 1783. The house is stuccoed, with a band separating the ground and first floors, and a cill string on the right-hand side. It has a symmetrical arrangement of one and three windows, with the left-hand range set back. The first and second floors feature glazing bar sashes, while the central windows of the right-hand portion are blind. There is a plate glass sash window on the ground and first floors to the right. A moulded cornice runs along the top, above which is a parapet. The roof is tiled, with three chimneys, two of which are ashlar and have coved necks. A pedimented doorcase, featuring Doric pilasters and a fluted frieze, frames a six-panel double door, which is centrally positioned. The house has been altered.
