Description

The barn at The Fox and Hounds Inn is a structure likely built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from random rubble stone and features a stone slate roof. The barn has three bays and two double planked doors on the front facing the road; the left door is set within a partly blocked segmental arch that includes a keystone. To the right, there is a lean-to with a planked door and a vent. At the rear, the barn has centrally located boarded doors. Inside, the barn has collar and tie-beam roof trusses along with two tiers of purlins. This building is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
