Description

Woolley Green Lodge is probably of early 18th century date. It is a two-storey building constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings. The roof is now pantiled, with stone chimney stacks at each end. The front facade has four windows, some with two lights, others with three, all divided by stone mullions. Drip moulds are present above some of the windows. Casement windows retain glazing bars. A plain, square-headed doorway is located on the right, and paired French windows are positioned on the left. A single-storey, one-window extension has been added to the right of the front. Woolley Green Lodge, together with Woolley Green House, numbers 12 and 13 Woolley Green, an archway, and associated walls, form a group of buildings of group value.
