Description
This is a row of three late 18th-century houses located on the west side of Potterne High Street. The houses are constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and a ridge stack situated between numbers 23 and 24. They are two storeys high, with an attic space containing a 20th-century dormer window on number 23.
Numbers 23 and 24 form a symmetrical pair, each originally featuring a single window bay. They have leaded, triple-glazed casement windows, and the ground floor openings have cambered heads. Number 23 has an entrance door on the left side, which has been widened to accommodate a side light. Number 24 has an entrance door on the right side. Both doors are protected by small timber pent roofs supported by brackets. Number 25, sharing the same roofline, has different window arrangements with 20th-century metal casement windows, two on the upper floor and one on the ground floor to the right. The entrance door to number 25 is also covered by a flat timber hood on brackets, accompanied by a small projecting brick band.
