Description
Bennetts is a farmhouse, now a house, built around 1830-1840, which incorporates a 17th-century structure. It features a distinctive design with diaper red and blue brick, flint banding, and a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high with four bays. The entrance to the stair hall is located in the second bay and leads to a through passage that connects to the rear wing. There is a boarded door set within an early 20th-century gabled open porch. The windows are timber 3-light casements, with 2-light windows on the first floor. The upper floor of the elevation is constructed using vitrified headers that create a bold pattern. Inside, there is a large fireplace with an oven, which is currently not visible, and chamfered cross beams.
