Description

The Old Oxyard is a house dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. It is timber-framed with wattle and daub infilling and a thatched roof. The original structure comprises a single storey and attic with three bays, alongside a narrow stack bay, and extended by a half bay to the left and a lean-to to the right. A door is positioned opposite the stack, between the second and third bays. The timber framing is three panels high, incorporating corner braces. It has leaded windows. The rear of the house is partially clad in weatherboarding. A boarded door is sheltered by a thatched canopy. The interior was not inspected during listing.
