Description

This is a pair of houses located at 25, 27, and 29 Burnivale, built around 1830. They are constructed from limestone rubble, which was previously limewashed, with rendered backs, brick ridge stacks, and a stone slate roof. The houses have a double-depth plan and are two storeys high with an attic, featuring a two-window range. The garden front displays segmental-arched heads, with 19th-century casements on the first floor to the left, two gabled dormers, and a single plate-glass window to the right, which is accompanied by a raised full-width dormer added in the late 20th century. The rendered street front includes an open through-passage. The interior has been largely remodelled in the mid-20th century.
