Description
A pair of houses located in Burnivale, Malmesbury, dating from around 1830. The houses are built of limestone rubble, originally limewashed, with brick gable stacks and a stone slate roof. They were originally part of a larger terrace. Each house is of double-depth plan, two storeys and an attic, with a single-window range to the front. The garden front features inner doorways, with a 20th-century porch to the left, segmental brick heads, and rendered lintels above the windows. A gabled dormer is located to the right. The street front has a left-hand doorway and small windows. The formerly windowless first floor now has a mid-20th century plate-glass window on the left. The interior has not been inspected.
