Description
Newlands is a terrace of three houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of rubble stone with a stone slate roof, featuring end stacks and one ridge stack. The houses are two storeys high with an attic, and originally had a six-window frontage of unmoulded mullion windows. The ground floor central door of each cottage is topped with a hood supported by brackets. The left cottage has a three-light window and 20th-century ground-floor windows, the centre cottage has two-light and single-light windows, and the right cottage has two-light and three-light windows. Small paned casements and sashes remain in the right cottage. The rear elevation features two hipped dormers and various outbuildings.
