Description
The Church of All Saints is a redundant Anglican parish church, now converted into a dwelling house. It was built in 1859 by N.E. Clacey of Devizes. The church is constructed from polygonal malmstone with limestone dressings and features a slate roof in an austere 13th-century style. The layout includes a nave, chancel, and a south porch. The nave has paired trefoiled lancet windows, while the chancel has a single lancet, with most windows fitted with sheet glass. There is a two-light west window with a quatrefoil head, and low angle buttresses with two offsets. A flush tall west bellcote has a simple opening. The chancel features a three-light east window with an octofoiled head, a lean-to vestry on the north side, and a gabled stack. A cross is positioned on the east gable end. The south porch is also gabled and has an arch with two chamfered orders. Inside, there is an open rafter roof, and the space is divided horizontally to create an upper floor, although this interior feature is not of special interest.
