Description

This is a row of three 18th-century buildings forming numbers 19 to 21 on The Green. They are constructed of vitreous brick with red brick dressings. The buildings have a first-floor string course, a toothed eaves cornice, and a mansard roof covered with old tiles. Number 19 has two gabled dormers and two windows on the first floor, each with four panes. There is a ground floor window with five panes, and a door with a lattice porch. Numbers 20 and 21 each have one dormer. Number 20 has a three-light casement window on the first floor, while number 21’s similar window is blocked. Both have a three-light ground floor window and a door with a small hood supported by cut brackets. All the doors date from the 18th century and have a glazed upper portion consisting of nine small panes, and two panels to the lower half. Numbers 19 to 32 on The Green form a group of buildings of group value.
