Description
This is a 18th-century warehouse occupied by George Hillier, located on the north side of Back Street. The building is similar to the west part but is stepped up and shares the same roof. It is three storeys tall, constructed of brick with stone cill bands on the first and second floors. There are two ranges of glazing bar windows, featuring sash windows on the first and ground floors with stone lintels and keys, and casement windows on the second floor. The ground floor includes two blocked doorways with stone lintels and a large segmental opening to the left, which has stone quoins. Inside, there is a wooden hoist wheel at an opening on each floor, wide floorboards, and a cast iron royal coat of arms mounted at the bottom of the stairs.
