Description
This building, known as the premises occupied by George Hillier, is a former cloth-making workshop dating from the early 19th century. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of red and partly blue brick, set on a stone plinth with stone quoins and bands at the ground and first floors. The west gable features a footstone to the coped verge. The windows are irregularly spaced, with three on the second floor that have glazing bars, including one sash window. The first floor has four modern casement windows below a common wooden lintel. On the ground floor, there are two windows, one to the left with a moulded frame. To the left of centre, there is a large segmental stone arch with imposts and a key. The roof is covered with double roman tiles.
