Description

Moorfield Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick with stone dressings, and has a Bridgwater tiled roof with gabled brick stacks at each end. The two-storey, three-window front features a central 20th-century glazed door set within a cyma-moulded architrave and flat stone hood supported by brackets. Flanking the door are three-light, cyma-mullioned casement windows. Above the door is a two-light mullioned casement, with three-light casements on either side. A lean-to garage is attached to the left return. 20th-century flat-roofed extensions are attached to the right return and rear, with a gabled rear wing to the left. The interior was not inspected.
