Description

No 30 High Street is a mid-18th century building that forms part of a notable group of structures in Warminster, alongside Nos 28 and 32, from which it slightly projects forward, and No 34. The building has two storeys and is constructed of plum-coloured brick, topped with an old tile roof that has eaves and ridge levels similar to those of Nos 28 and 32. It features an off-ridge chimney. A large Palladian window is centrally located on the first floor, flanked by outer Doric pilasters and three-quarter engaged Doric columns between the lights, with an entablature above and a Gothic central light. The windows are glazing bar sashes. The ground floor has a modern shop front in the centre, with a plain door to the left.
