Description

This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is made of ashlar stone and features two arched head plaques on each side, with enriched piers between them and at the corners. At the west end, there is a fine armorial cartouche. The tomb has a moulded base and a capstone. The earliest inscription on the tomb is for G. Neat, who died in 1814. The monument is situated about 1 metre south of the Mullins monument and east of the chancel of the Church of St. Thomas.
