Description

The Bristow monument is a low chest tomb located in the churchyard, 7 meters east of the east wall of the north chapel at the Church of the Holy Cross. It dates from the 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a double width chamfered table and has inscribed side panels. It commemorates Ann Bristow, who died in 1759, and her daughter Mary, who died in 1712. The end inscription includes hourglasses.
