Description

Nos 7 to 9, Little Brittox, form an 18th-century terrace built of Bath stone, with Nos 8 and 9 subsequently painted. The buildings have a low-pitched slate roof and a wooden eaves cornice. Each property originally had two windows, with stone piers separating the window bays and a blind panel in the centre of each bay. The windows are slightly recessed, and are sash windows with glazing bars, flush keystones, and block sills. No 9 now has a modern shop front. Nos 7 and 8 have smaller shop fronts dating to the mid-19th century, each featuring three canted plate glass bays with moulded frames, a deep frieze, and a projecting cornice with pilasters at the south end. Nos 7 to 10 form a group.
