ST9273SW MARKET PLACE 930-1/10/121 (East side) Group of 4 chest tombs approximately 20m to south-east of Church of St Andrew

GV II

Group of 4 chest tombs to the south-east corner of the churchyard. C18. Each has a plinth and a cyma-moulded flat top. i) In the south-east corner of the churchyard, approx 40m from the south-east corner of the church, has shields with ogee bases, one to each end and 2 to each side articulated by pilasters with raised-and-fielded panels. ii) Approx 33m from the south-east corner of the church along the easterly footpath has ornate carved scrolls to the pilasters, a semicircular-arched panel to the north side and a complex-shaped panel to the south side. iii) Approx 30m from the south-east corner of the church is similar to (i) above. iv) Approx 9m from the south-east corner of the church is similar to (ii) above.
