Description
This is a chest tomb located about 6 meters north of the north-west angle of the Church of St. Margaret in Yatton Keynell. It dates from around 1800 and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features single slab sides and has two incised shaped plaques on the south side, with relief carved ornamentation and clustered column corners. The north side is plain and includes two plaques with a foliage spray between them. It also has a moulded base and a capstone.
