Description

Yew Cottage is a cottage dating from around 1840. It is constructed of rendered flint and features a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of three bays. There is a verandah at the front supported by rustic posts and covered with a slate roof, with round paving slabs beneath. The entrance is located in a porch on the gable end, and there are small pointed-headed windows in the gable. The elevation facing the road includes paned casement windows and two flush dormers. A stack is positioned on the south gable. Inside, the cottage features Gothic pointed arch doors with cusped cinquefoils.
