Description

Davaar and Vine Cottage is a pair of semi-detached cottages built in the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of flint and stone, featuring chequerwork on the first floor, with brick quoins and dressings. The cottages are two storeys high and are bilaterally symmetrical, each consisting of two bays. The entrances have been moved from the front to porches that are attached to the gable ends. The cottages have iron paned casement windows set in timber frames, arranged in segmental headed openings, with three pairs of windows on the ground floor. The roof is hipped, and there are two yellow brick stacks with two flues each.
