Description
Pouldens Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse with an extension dated 1883. It is constructed of dressed limestone and features a concrete tiled roof with gable end brick stacks. The building is two stories high and has a three-window front facing north. The central entrance consists of a planked door set in a chamfered stone surround, topped with a flat wooden hood supported by cast-iron brackets. On either side of the door are three-light recessed chamfered mullioned casements. The first floor has three 2-light mullioned casements. To the right is the 1883 two-story extension, which includes a planked door and casements. To the left, there is a two-story rubble stone extension with additional casements. The rear of the farmhouse features a three-light mullioned casement on either side of a small single casement, with three 2-light casements on the first floor. Inside, the farmhouse has plain beams and a restored open fireplace.
