Description
Albany House is a late 18th-century building located on North Street. It is three storeys high and features a painted brick front set on a plinth. The cornice includes a moulded off-set and modillions, similar to The Moat House across the street. The front has three ranges of modern standard moulding glazing bar sash windows with 'horns', meeting rails, and flush moulded frames, all topped with brick flat arches. The central doorcase is adorned with a moulded flat wooden hood supported by pilasters and has parched reveals. At the rear, there is a two-bay, two-storey extension. The roof is hipped and tiled, with metal stays supporting the gutter.
