Description
Rosefield Cottage is an 18th-century building set back from the road. It is two storeys and has an attic, with a half-hipped roof covered in stone tiles and two hipped gable dormers. The cottage is constructed of red brick. The front has three two-light casement windows. There is a pointed window on the ground floor of the north-west gable end, and below the gable, a large blocked window. A modern porch now covers the doorway on the right-hand side. A delicate wrought-iron gate with ornamental scrollwork stands at the entrance. The cottage is linked to Rosefield House by a 7-foot brick wall, which features stone crenellations and a pointed doorway.
