Description

Nos 13 and 14 on Yerbury Street are part of a terrace built around the 1790s, representing some of the best examples of weavers' houses in the row. These three-storey buildings are constructed of red brick, with No 13 featuring blue headers. The stone window surrounds are present on the ground and first floors, with each house having one range of windows: three lights on the ground and first floors, and four lights on the second floor, all fitted with many-paned casements, except for the second floor of No 13. The doorways are located to the right; No 13 has a six-panel door with the lower four panels raised and fielded, while the upper two panels are glazed. No 14 has a modern ledged door. Together with Nos 4 to 14 and the wall to the southeast of No 14, these buildings form a group, with Nos 17 to 21 also being of local interest.
