Description

HORNINGSHAM CHURCH LANE ST 84 SW (east side) 2/118 Five monuments in the churchyard, between 8 and 18 metres south-west of tower of Church of St. John the Baptist

GV II

Five chest tombs. Late C18 and early C19. Limestone and slate. One to Eliza Dredge died 1807 with rounded corners, plain slate panels. One to Betty Moody died 1795 with slate inscription panels and weathered top. South pair are mid C18 with two fielded panels, floral pilasters and flat tops; illegible inscriptions. North one is C18 with two fielded panels, fielded pilasters and flat top.
