Description
The Bennett monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 15 meters south of the southeast corner of the Church of St. James in North Wraxall. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of pennant stone. The tomb features a large rectangular plaque on each side, fluted corner piers, a moulded base, and a ridged capstone. The earliest inscription on the monument is for N. Bennett, who died in 1831.
