Description

Thatch Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the early 18th century. It features rendered cob on a brick and flint plinth at the front, with Flemish bond brickwork at the rear and on the side returns. The cottage has a thatched hipped roof with a brick gable end stack on the left side. It is two stories tall and has a two-window front. A central 20th-century porch is present, with three-light wooden casements on either side. The first floor has two 2-light wooden casements, and the right return has one casement on the first floor. To the left, there is a weather-boarded lean-to extension. The rear of the cottage is windowless. The interior has not been inspected.
