Description

Moat Cottage is a detached cottage dated 1760, with a later 19th-century rear wing. It is constructed using Flemish bond brick and has a tiled roof with a brick stack. The two-storey, two-window front features a central plank door within a 20th-century porch. To either side of the door are 19th-century cast-iron casement windows. A single casement window is visible on the left return at ground floor level. A single-storey wing to the rear left has a three-light cast-iron casement with Gothick tracery to the left and a smaller casement to the right. The interior has not been inspected. A datestone bearing the inscription "R.L./1760" is located above the door.
