Description

The front garden wall and gate piers to Chisenbury Priory are a Grade II listed structure. The wall extends from the 18th-century facade of the priory and returns as a lower wall. Constructed in 1923, the wall is made of flint with tile copings, while the return wall is built of brick with stone copings. The wall sweeps up at two openings at the ends. It terminates in 80-centimeter brick gate piers that feature a stone moulded cornice and ball finials, standing approximately 4 meters high. The design reflects an 18th-century style and is important to the setting of the house.
