Description

This is a 18th-century barn with attached stables located at the north end of the village of Enford East Chisenbury. The barn is timber framed and weatherboarded, resting on brick sill walls, and features a thatched roof. It consists of six bays, with cart entrances located in the fourth bay from the west. There is an aisle on the north side, and the stable forms a three-bay wing at the southeast corner. The stable is constructed of clunch with brick quoins and thatch. Inside the barn, there are braces to the plates and ties, along with raking struts and collar trusses.
