Description
The gate piers to the south drive of Chisenbury Priory were built in 1923 and are made of brick. Each pier has shafts that are approximately 4 meters high and 80 centimeters wide. They feature a moulded stone cornice and ball finials. The piers support timber gates that are designed with open diamond staves and a curved headrail, with iron brackets at the joints. The design is in the style of the 18th century.
