Description
Longhedge House is a farmhouse, now a dwelling, dating from the late 18th to early 19th century, with some late 19th-century alterations. The building is constructed of flint with brick lacings and dressings, topped with a tiled roof. It has two storeys, attics, and cellars, originally comprising three bays, which were extended in the late 19th century by an additional bay to the south.
The entrance features a half-glazed door within the 19th-century extension, accompanied by a timber-framed and tiled porch. The ground floor includes sixteen-paned sash windows and one small fire window, while the first floor has three-light paired casements and two similar gabled dormers. The house has gable stacks, and the added bay on the left is set back. The gable end features plate glass sashes and a square bay, with the gable being tile hung.
