Description

Penny Cottage is a house from the early 19th century, likely built on an earlier structure. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with a stack at the east end. The building has two storeys. The right side of the house is double-fronted, featuring two 2-light unmoulded mullion windows and a central door that has been glazed. The cross wing on the left has been refronted in squared rubble and includes similar 2-light windows on each floor, with a door in a flush surround to the right. The north gable of the cross wing is half-hipped.
