Description

There is a row of three chest tombs located approximately 24 meters south-west of the south-west corner of the nave of the Church of St Andrew, along the western footpath. These tombs date from the late 17th century to the early 18th century and share a similar design. Each tomb features plinths, cyma-moulded flat tops, cornices, and entablatures. They have shields with ogee bases, one at each end and two on the sides, which are highlighted by pilasters with raised and fielded panels. The central tomb is distinguished by its carved pilasters and a carved angel at the south end.
