ST9273SW MARKET PLACE 930-1/10/117 (East side) Three chest tombs approximately 24m south-west of Church of St Andrew

GV II

Row of 3 chest tombs approx 24m south-west of the south-west corner of the nave along the western foothpath. Late C17/early C18. All of similar design. Plinths; cyma-moulded flat tops; cornices and entablatures; shields with ogee bases, one to each end and 2 to the sides, articulated by pilasters with raised and fielded panels. The tomb to the centre has carved pilasters and a carved angel to the south end.
