Description

Beckford Cottages, known as Ivydene, is a house in a row built in the late 17th century and altered in the late 18th century. It features dressed limestone and a tiled roof with coped verges and brick stacks at the gable ends. The building is two stories high and has three windows. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door topped with a hipped tiled hood, flanked by 16-pane sash windows. The ground floor has a chamfered stone plinth. On the first floor, there is a central 12-pane sash window with 16-pane sash windows on either side. The interior and rear were not accessible during the survey in December 1985.
