Description
Milbourne Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has a core dating from the 17th century, with a refronting from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and has a rendered west front, topped with a gabled stone slate roof and featuring three brick stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan, with a long service wing at the rear of the main block. The two-storey west front has four windows, with 16-pane sash windows on the ground floor to the left and 12-pane sash windows for the rest. The doorway is offset to the right and has a flat hood supported by brackets, along with a six-panel door that includes two top lights. There is a stone plinth course and a blocking course at the parapet. Inside, there is a late 18th-century staircase that features a circular newel post and square balusters.
