Description

The Clarke monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 3 metres east of the vestry of the Church of St Peter in Monkton Farleigh. It is dated to 1833 and features an inscription to Mary Clarke. The tomb is made of limestone and has two beaded panels on its main sides, along with a moulded cornice that tops the weathered surface.
