Description

The smart monument in the churchyard, located 37 meters south of the south transept of the Church of St. Sampson, is a large chest tomb dating from the mid-19th century. It is made of limestone and features a moulded table and base, along with end pilasters. The panels of the tomb display black lettering commemorating Thomas Smart, who died in 1849.
