Description

The stable at Westwood Manor, likely built around 1700, is a single-storey structure with a loft. It features random rubble stone construction and a stone slate roof with coped verges and saddlestones. On the east side, which faces the barn, there is a planked door set in a deep chamfered surround and a gabled loading bay for the loft. The west side has a planked door and two shuttered windows. The south gable end, which was rebuilt in the early 20th century, includes a planked door and a fixed 9-pane window, both in chamfered surrounds, along with a planked loading bay above. The north gable end has a 2-light casement window to the left.
