Description

St John's Church School and Hall and the Schoolmasters Dwelling, built in 1855 by local architect W. H. Wilkins, is located on Frome Road in Studley. This irregularly shaped complex features a combination of coursed and dressed rubble set on a battered plinth. It is primarily a single-storey building, except for the masters' lodging situated to the south. The structure includes thin cusped lights with shouldered lintels and a large three-light window on the southeast side. There is a tower porch with a belfry and a date displayed above the doorway. St John's Church, along with St John's Church School and Hall, forms a cohesive group.
